Enjoy a dinner buffet featuring chipotle rubbed flat iron stake, butterflied pan seared shrimp, roasted sweet pepper and potato gratin, Mediterranean ratatouille, roasted forest mushrooms, braised red lentils and a variety of soup, salads, and multiple dessert options. Drink options including domestic and imported micro beers and selected wines.

Guest Speaker: Mark Hofflund, Idaho Shakespeare Festival Managing Director
"Backstage Pass to 30 Years of the Shakespeare Festival" Mark Hofflund has dedicated 31 years to the Idaho Shakespeare Festival based in Boise. His career began at The Old Globe under the mentorship of Jack O’Brien, Tom Hall, and Craig Noel. Mark, in collaboration with colleague Charles Fee, played a pivotal role in planning and constructing the ISF Amphitheater and Reserve. His partnerships with organizations such as the Idaho Foundation for Parks and Lands, Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation, Idaho Fish and Wildlife Foundation, Barber Valley Neighborhood Association, and others have contributed significantly to enhancing the environment and creating the experience enjoyed by Festival patrons at Barber Pool today. |
Mark has a distinguished record of service, receiving a presidential appointment to the National Council on the Arts, where he was honored with the Chairman's Medal by Dana Gioia. He also served on the boards of the Boise Convention and Visitors Bureau and the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies. Additionally, he chaired the Idaho Commission on the Arts under the leadership of Governors Kempthorne, Risch, and Otter, and received the Governor's Award in the Arts for Exceptional Service.
Mark has taught at both Boise State University and the University of Idaho, where he was recognized with the President's Medallion. He earned degrees from Princeton and the University of California, San Diego. His enduring commitment to the arts and the community of Idaho is evident in his extensive contributions and accomplishments.

5:45-9:15 PM Kids Pizza Party and Movie Night (Shore Lodge Theater)
The kid's pizza party and movie night is provided free of charge to those who are attending the Saturday evening banquet OR otherwise staying onsite at the Shore Lodge during this period of time. Infants to age 12 are welcome. We have secured background-checked and trained personnel from Mountain Life Church in McCall is providing care for your kids this year!
You must register your children and sign a waiver for this event.

OTHER WINTER ACTIVITIES AROUND MCCALL
Cross Country Skiing on Private Trails - Friday 11-3 PM
($20 each) WhiteTail Club/Golf Course The Whitetail Club is offering us access to its exclusive groomed trails on Friday for just $20 per skier. Shore Lodge will provide a shuttle to/from the private Whitetail golf course at 11, Noon and 1:15, returning at 12:15, 1:30, and 3 PM. (Equipment not included.) |
NORDIC SKIING
Several nordic/cross-country ski opportunities exist in the area including Bear Basin, Ponderosa Park, Tamarack, and Jug Mountain. Whitetail Club is going to be opened for our group on Friday between 11-3 PM. Shore Lodge will provide a shuttle to/from the private Whitetail golf course where we’ll enjoy 20k of trails, ranging from wooded trails to wide valley views.
Rental equipment is available in McCall at Gravity Sports and Hometown Sports.
