Whova is organized into sections
Program Book (PDF)
Agenda - View all events and their Zoom links Attendees - View and communicate privately with other attendees, speakers, and exhibitors. Update your bio and picture if you would like. Community - Engage in topical conversations, article sharing, or ask for help. Start your own topics if you do not find one you like. Sponsors/Exhibitors - Visit virtual exhibitor booths via live video links. Messages - Find direct messages from attendees and exhibitors Resources - Conference handouts (documents), exhibitor videos, ACMS well-being resources, speakers and more.
Whova has a mobile/tablet app which you may prefer to the desktop version, but it's not optimal for viewing videos or engaging with breakout rooms or exhibitors since you would need to install Zoom there as well.
Download - You should download and install the free Zoom app on your laptop, desktop or tablet. Zoom on a mobile device is also possible, but will make breakout rooms more difficult.
If you have already download Zoom, it is very important that you update it to the latest version. You can do that simply by redownloading it and it will update your existing installation.
Breakout rooms - During education workshop sessions and virtual socials, Zoom breakout rooms will be used extensively. Please be prepared to turn your camera and microphone on. Questions and Answers - Q&A or comments at the end of each educational presentation will be done via ZOOM chat (not Whova chat). Speakers will answer your written questions. If you have a complicated question or comment, you may raise your ZOOM hand or say so in the chat and you will be called on at the appropriate time to unmute. Security - In order to keep people out of Zoom that don’t belong there during our conference, you must have a registered free Zoom account login matching your registration email address before the conference. Online Use Agreement By participating in Winter Clinics, you agree that ACMS may record your image and/or voice during the event broadcast. Recordings rebroadcast as ACMS sees fit without your permission or compensation. Please consider confidentiality when discussing any patient cases during the conference.
